Court expected to uphold Prop 8.

The California Supreme Court is expected to uphold Prop 8 but allow the 18000 marriages that have been performed to remain legal.

Sweet. California is on the cutting edge of something good for once and possibly only for a short moment till the next ballot initiative.

California Supreme Court to issue Prop. 8 decision today:
Rulings are expected on the legality of the measure barring same-sex marriage and the status of those who married before it was approved by voters.
