OK, people. We need to learn from history here. How many times have we been arguing some doctrinal point and think we are about to win when -BAM- the "not official" card if played. Or the "as a man" button is pushed. We have our own prophet among us, we have the ability to correct this problem. Nightlion, use RED text when you are speaking as a prophet. When the revolution comes and vindicates you with a new faith, we need to know.

If he begins using red text, he'll be charged with speaking as a moderator. Unless you ARE a moderator speaking as a man, in which case your text would be black. How would we know who is talking and in what capacity? I'm telling you, you can't win around here.

If I understand you correctly, what you're suggesting is that when speaking as a prophet, Nightlion would use the fry sauce and that distinguising with regards to prophet vs loon would be left to our individual powers of discernment?

I doubt it's the restorationist worldview. According to that really interesting Dr. Sopolski lecture at Stanford that someone linked here a few days ago, it sounds like the schizotypal sort will latch onto whatever religious idiom is available to them and run with it. If it weren't Joseph Smith's religious tradition, it would be some other - take your pick.
