I love all of these "Correspondence between X and Daniel C. Peterson" posts that are over on SHIELDS. So if you search for DCP's name, all of these come up, as well as those he has harassed.

Yep, harassment. Typical Mormon Apologist. Attack someone and then post their email conversations. There are those "Critics" who do not have all of the details that others here on MDB have when it comes to debating people like Peterson. So Peterson uses this to his advantage and easily pushes them into a corner. He then smugly flips his intellectual nose in the air and declares that he has somehow won. Yet when he is challenged by others such as, oh, Bob McCue, Simon Southerton, or others here on this board, he suddenly doesn't have the time, or finds the person he is debating with is lacking in some stupid rule that Peterson pulls out of his ass.

Smug ass-holishness. Fits the Doctor perfectly. Always easier to win when you can be the bully. Yep, DCP is a school yard bully.

Ok, it is time to do some serious Daniel C. Peterson harassment. I mean serious Internet harassment of Daniel. One that when anyone searches for his name, it will come up, exposing who he truly is and exactly how he acts.

I'll be back in a while.

I disagree with you.
Whenever one of his beloved critics go on a lethal rampage, like Scratch does, the kitchen gets too hot for him he acts like wounded pussy, finds solace in hiding.
The key is not to overwhelm the guy, give him just enough length of rope to hang but not kill himself.
Let's be frank about it. DCP is the most entertaining apologist there is. Don't kill the goose who lays mediocre eggs in this case.
And please stop writing offensive, deragatory posts about him when he is on Hawaiian vacaction.

I strongly recommend against doing anything illegal.

Scratch has been doing this for quite sometime now. So have other of you odd balls. Is life really so dull for you that you want to spend your time attacking another person like this?

Just to clarify: WjExMo suggests, perhaps without intending to do so, that I've engaged in the very same kinds of debates with the folks represented on SHIELDS that I've refused to engage in with Simon Southerton and Bob McCue.

McCue sought a sustained formal public oral debate. (To the best of my recollection, Southerton never asked for one.) The SHIELDS people wrote me e-mails or put up websites, and I responded. It's essentially the same kind of interaction as occurs on a message board.

I've done a few quasi-formal debates on the radio -- e.g., with James White and Bill McKeever -- and think I did quite well in them, but they aren't a major or even minor interest of mine. I was on my high school debate team; I have a pretty good idea how much victory in such debates depends upon the correctness of one's position and how much it depends on extraneous factors.

If WjExMo has engaged in the kind of formal public debates that he demands of me, I hope he'll share representative samples from them. I, at least, would enjoy looking at his work.

I try to do my part as the opportunity arises (though, to be frank, I have to admit to a culpable lapse in seriousness on my part).

I'll do better.

Daniel C. Peterson is truly a person who smells.
Daniel C. Peterson acts exactly how a person who smells would act.

Not only that, but sources tell me Daniel has been trying to score a sponsorship from Rogaine, but the guy in charge is an exmo with an axe to grind, who left so he can sin (coffee). You see the results: no Rogaine for Peterson.

If I recall correctly, this is not correct. McCue offered to debate you right then and there on FAIR. He was *willing* to do a more formal oral debate if that would've made you more comfortable, but you still declined.
