1. Perfect the Saints.
That is to teach the reveled gospel.
2. Proclaim the Gospel.
Declare it everywhere and by all means available.
3. Redeem the Dead.
Temple work for ALL of those who have gone before.
4. Oppose Gay Marriage.
Oppose Gay Marriage by all means available.

Your number four is part of one and two.
Its the same as teaching against adultery.

None of them.
You're entirely on your own in that regard. Sorry.

Then why continue with the hate if it is not justified by the mission of the church?
So here it is people, Peterson admits that the gay bashing bigotry is not justified by the mission statement of the Mormon church.

When was the last time the Church came out in support of laws against adultery?

Yes, because we spend so much time doing that.
I think I was involved in it for about 5-6 hours my entire life in the Church.
Compare that to Proclaim the Gospel (over 2 years), Redeem the Dead (weeks of time), and perfect the Saints (perpetual). You might as well say that Boy Scouts or the Stake Road Show are also one of the missions of the Church.

You are right. Don't know about the Stake Road Shows, but the other two do seem perennial and there is no quick end in sight.
