Who Writes "The Editor's Notebook"?

I'm curious if anyone knows who writes the oddly anonymous "The Editor's Notebook" section for the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies?

I do. It's written by the editor of the Journal.

Or else, if you prefer to believe otherwise, by . . . drumroll . . . the Hauptsturmbahnführer of the SCMC.

Sorry for the confusion---that wasn't quite what I meant. I know, for example, that Stephen Ricks has sometimes edited, since his name was listed in the "Editor's Introduction". But many of the issues' "Editor's Notebook" appear to have been written anonymously. Is there a reason for that?

None that I'm aware of.

Since the editor of the Journal is publicly identified in every issue, though, it doesn't seem that it should be especially hard to figure out who wrote the "Editor's Notebook." Does that really count as "anonymous"?

Is that only in the hardcopies of the Journal? Or is this information listed online somewhere, too?

Just looked it up.

This was quite easy to locate for the current issue:

Well, thank you anyway for trying to answer my question. I appreciate it. I guess in the end that some things that turn up in the print edition never wind up getting archived online. For instance (and this was why I asked about the editor), Murphy (in that same Dialogue article) makes mention of an "untitled insert, signed by the editor of the Journal of Book of Mormon Studies 12, no. 1" which proceeds to attack Murphy's professional qualifications and integrity. Oddly enough, I couldn't find this "insert" among the links to that issue's contents:

http://mi.BYU.edu/publications/jbms/?vol=12&num=2

Murphy cites the "insert" as being located on pg. 37, which would place it within Duke's article, but, obviously, the "insert" has been omitted from the online version. (Or, at least, I couldn't find it.)

Ed.: Ooops! Wait, I just saw your reply! Again: thanks for looking that up for me. Of course, this doesn't tell me who authored the "insert," but, again, I'm grateful to you for finding the information. Thanks again.

Edited again: Actually, most of the online issues do not contain that "Editors" link. Check out, e.g., vol. 12.
