What's with all the Porn Threads Lately?

It's amusing to me that MD seems to be the target of some porn spamming lately (I'm the last person to be offended by it; however, I can appreciate others not wanting to see it). Could this have something to do with Utah being a leading porn consumer?
If so, they only partially understand their audience here.

That garbage seems to pop up about once a year.
