This article provides an exciting new proof in the power of faith based thought. This should be very encouraging to the religious.

(LMAO)

Especially on the blue screen of death. :D

The friend of mine who sent me that article (a very religious guy, by the way, and one of my favorite people in the world) said that, not only do we no longer need a testing cycle, we don't even need an app. Just have faith it exists!

He cracks me up.

I feel it in my every fiber and breath that the Faith-Based Development is true.

I know that I.B. Phoolen and Ebenezer Scroom are true prophet of the true software development methodology, even their name make some weird reverberation.
Ebenezer Scrooge is the main character in Charles Dickens' 1843 novel, A Christmas Carol.
Image
He is a cold-hearted, tight fisted, selfish man, who despises Christmas and all things which engender happiness. A quote from the book reads "The cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, made his eyes red, his thin lips blue, and he spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice ..." His last name has come into the English language as a byword for miserliness and misanthropy.

I.B. Phoolen . . . . by the way it sounds bad ...
Retired software engineer I.B. Phoolen invented Web services, Scrum,
penicillin, recursion and, most recently, ALGOL 68. Read his blog at
ibphoolen.blogspot.com, and write him at ibphoolen@gmail.com.

And the date of the Conference wasn't too fortunate ...
