The founder was killed off. After the VC money and managerial talent of BY took over the company was bound to go multinational. Steel and coal combined with labor. Now that the kernel of enough Capital had been collected it was open season on organizing Mormon labor, so props to tha man who communed with tons of Democrat bitches.

The press destroyed and the non Mormons pretty pissed off at the gangland opening up in Nauvoo. He had escaped capture before by fleeing. On numerous occasions he would be readied for trial but escape to Canada.

No, not this time. He and his possee was packin pistols and gettin crunk in the jailhouse when the vigilantes assembled and took care of the local crime problem.

All his bitches fought over what was left and Emma went another way than Brigham. Mormonism is Thug Life 4eva.

Joseph was a thug. Lets not forget that.

When a man begins to be an enemy to this work, he hunts me, he seeks to kill me, and never ceases to thirst for my blood. He gets the spirit of the devil—the same spirit that they had who crucified the Lord of Life—the same spirit that sins against the Holy Ghost. You cannot save such persons; you cannot bring them to repentance; they make open war, like the devil, and awful is the consequence.

-Joseph Smith

Some things never change.

I can totally imagine Charles Manson saying something crazy like that.

Charles Manson, Jim Jones, Koresh...All equal analogues to Joseph Smith.
