Wow! I thought my brother and I had it bad.
Dad: Time to get up and go to church.
Brother: I don't want to go.
Dad: What does that have to do with anything. Get up!
Brother pulled out of bed and slammed against the wall.
However, perhaps the dad in this case is merely mentally unstable and we shouldn't judge?

Brother pulled out of bed and slammed against the wall.
The pulling out of bed and "roughing up a little" thing must be more common than I thought. Happened in my house upon my sibling's refusal to go to Church.

That crazy son of a bitch would have killed his daughter had he caught her. One year isn't enough. He deserves to be shot.
I hate abusers. I have no sympathy for them.

Photo / Brett PhibbsA 55-year-old man who beat his daughter over the head with a lump of concrete when she refused to go to his Mormon church "does not understand what all the fuss is about", Hastings District Court has heard.
Uluia Muliipu appeared in court after pleading guilty to one count of assault with intent to injure.
So he chases her, picks up a "lump" of concrete, hits her over the head with it in a bedroom (trapped her there, obviously), kicks her in the face, etc.
And he is charged with "assault with intent to injure"?
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
Why wasn't he charged with attempted murder?

That guy obviously just has problems in general - had an inability to understand "whacking someone on the head is unacceptable". He'd be a comic character if he weren't so dangerous.

It's the antiMormon's religious pornography. "Oh look! Some Mormon is doing some really bad stuff." ...as if that is what one should expect because it's a Mormon doing it.

I can't go to the link or it will get me too upset. But I agree with you. I can't stand men that abuse their wives or kids. It makes me sick. At a minimum he should be beaten with a wooden stick until he cries for mercy and possibly shot.
My youngest daughter is on her way over for some college money! Time to get the check book out. OUCH!
