I actually want to discuss several things, but I'm not an expert on church history nor economics.
First off, what was the relationship and the difference between Consecration and the United Order?
How does communism / socialism differ from these besides the element of government compulsion?
What are the implications of stewardship in the consecration / the United Order? Does this significantly alter the outcome of consecration / the United Order, or is lack of compulsion more significant (if significant at all)?
Is the United Order / consecration compatible with communism? socialism? capitalism? Why?
What is the fate of Mormons who live in socialist countries?
What does capitalism mean?
Is the free market compatible with socialism? communism? the United Order / consecration?
How would could the stewardship component of the United Order / consecration work in today's society since few of us live on farms and our employers often own the assets we use to generate wealth?
