Other thoughts of people that are Narcissistic:
"Narcissism occurs in a spectrum of severity, but the pathologically narcissistic tend primarily be men (75%) who are extremely self-absorbed, intolerant of others’ perspectives, insensitive to others’ needs and indifferent to the effect of their own egocentric behavior"

Oh yes, karl61. I think you've launched a winner here. This is a subject absolutely ideally fitted for this board.
The Scratches will all want to weigh in, and, if you're really lucky, Some Schmo and poor Antishock8 and Joey and solomarineris and TAK and Mercury and some of the other major lights of the board will drop in and deposit something here.
And your hero, you say, is truth.

I've thought that for years now. I can't think of a more apt descriptor. Some are worse than others, of course, but... yeah.

Wow, you have an uncanny instinct for people coming on and telling it how it is. Amazing.
Like we all couldn't predict that you would come on and spew your pre-emptive defense as usual, or self-congratulate once the inevitable occurred.
Ya freaking narcissist.

Wow! Fascinating! I think I'm going to share this with my analyst. I wonder what she will have to say?

Some "professions" tend to attract narcissists more than others. Academia tends to attract them, I think (I consider myself somewhat narcissistic.) If Mormon apologists tend to be narcissistic, it might me a reflection of that. (By the way, I
certainly don't dispute that there are narcissists among Mormon apologists, but I'm not sure Mormon apologists are more narcissistic on the whole--perhaps, perhaps not.)

I'm only really familiar with the nature of Kerry Shirts who is categorized as a "hobbyist" apologist. None of the above characteristics apply to him.
To the extent that I'm familiar with Daniel Peterson (presumably that's what you were shooting for) on this board, none of the above characteristics apply to him either.
My take.
