Question concerning Joseph Smith and the Bible.
Deuteronomy 18:21-22
(a few) Unfullfilled prophecies of Joseph Smith.
*Coming of the Lord in 1891 - HC V.2 pg. 182
*David Patton to go on mission in next spring. - D&C 144:1
- Give April 17th 1838. Patton died Oct. 1838
*Congress will be broken up if petition is not heard and protection of the Mormons is not granted. - HC V.6 pg 116
- Petition was never heard, protection was never given, and congress is still fully functional.
*Treasure in Salem, city to be delivered to the Mormons in J.S.'s generation. - D&C 111
-None was found. City was never delivered by God to the Mormons
*Famine, hail, pestilence, earthquakes, will destroy the wicked of this country within J.S.'s generation. - HC V.1 pg 315-316
- Nothing of the sort happened within the generation or since.
*Temple to be built in Zion, Mo.
- Mormons forced to flee Zion.
If the LDS church considers itself a Christian denomination that believes in the Bible, how can it consider Joseph Smith a true prophet?

I know that you are not a Christian, because no Christian would put up this kind of challenge knowing that Christ's own Temple builindings prophecy; that one stone shall not be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down failed. . . or did it?
Why do you think the Jews consider their Wailing Wall so sacred?Just the words themselves without the intent are funny things in an idiots mind.

You know as well as I do that Matthew 24 is an end times prophesy.
You've also failed to answer why you believe that he is a prophet after failing the test.

The specific prophecy of the temple buildings being thrown down occured just as Jesus and his disciples left the temple:
Matt. 24:1-2
1. And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Prophecy finished.
You include this prophecy with the end times that was foretold later in the day when they were upon the mount of Olives. In that prophecy Christ does not refer to the temple being thrown down. The "THESE THINGS" asked about were his second coming, which he had predicted in the last verse of chapter 23.
The temple was thrown down in 70 AD or thereabouts. You are saying that there will be a second throwing down of the temple stones that will complete the first one to establish Christ as a true prophet, after all the tribulation that his disciples must endure? Really?
Wow? Obviously you are not Christian and are making up whatever you need to keep going. I bet you do not even know what the gospel of Jesus Christ is.
A true prophet teaches people how to accomplish the real deal. If a man is able to do that why try and trip him up and catch him in his words? Go on your way rejoicing.
Joseph Smith restored the key of knowledge with power to accomplish the gospel of Jesus Christ exactly like the Jews, who, after forty days were told to remain in Jerusalem unitl they recieved the promise of the Father.
Can anyone you know tell you how to obtain the promise of the Father, even the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost. Well? Can they? Punk!
Or do you just assume it saying:
Thank you Jesus!
Praise God!
Is that what everyone you trust says? Not that the Mormons know anything anymore. They do not. They have lost the key of knowledge too. Sad day, this.

Re: Question concerning Joseph Smith and the Bible.
24: 1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to Him to call His attention to its buildings. 2 "Do you see all these things?" He asked. "I tell you the truth not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. "Tell us" they said. "when will this happen and what will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?"
Jesus goes on to tell one story. He does not say this is when the temple will fall and this is when I will return. They as 2 questions that are replied to with 1 single answer.
And once again, thank you for avoiding my question.

Hello? tap! tap! tap!
Anybody in there?
Please do not attempt to reply if you are not really replying. Try to hit the ball as it is thrown to you.
I answered your question. I put the value of a prophet on his ability to help others accomplish the gospel of Jesus Christ. You did not want to play ball on that score. Small wonder.
Our universities spew out thousands and thousands of trained lawyers who can rethink everything under the son to make black white and white black. You are muckraking Joseph Smith. I could go back and show every Biblical prophet a fallen and false prophet by the same criteria you are using against Joseph Smith.
You want me to validate the muck you sling. To me it vaporizes before it hits the wall. Sorry. Go fish.

So? That doesn't mean Joseph was what he claimed to be. Nor does it mean he didn't crash and burn, thanks to his inability to keep his pants up in the company of young women.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Joseph Smith was what he claimed to be because I accomplished the same gospel he taught one hundred and forty years after he first taught it. No legacy of accomplished saints between us. This is perfect proof. It is gospel science done right and producing the same results. When I got it exactly as Joseph Smith said it should be and must be gotten I had not yet read any of Jospeh Smith's preaching about the real gospel and that you might as well baptize a bag of sand as a man without the baptism of the Holy Ghost attending it.
Oh and how many women today will tell you that they slept with Elvis?
You are not familiar enough with Joseph Smith. You do not know what was in his heart. He was not a womanizer. Why believe every witch who tells a tale. They had their agenda even back then. And if they did not have an agenda there were ten Druids lurking about who did.
