Yes, that's right.

I admit that this is a very serious charge against the bishop and the high council representative threatening to take a way temple recommends if anybody does business with the man.

I have a very hard time believing that this story actually took place and will not believe it did unless there is further evidence. It even becomes less credible when it is written by an anonymous poster and you can not check any facts.

Believing in this story without any evidence is just as bad as believing in faith promoting rumors in the church.

Let's just clarify - this wouldn't happen in California. No way. But in Utah, especially in some small town.......stranger things have happened. Just ask those folks on the wagon train some years back.

This is a good point. I'll never ask you to discuss your god again.

by the way, you might want to get off the mushrooms.

Can you give a specific example?

Sure. zzyzx also claims that the current Church leadership "condones actively lying, breaking the law and sees nothing wrong with it" and claims his "wife refused to teach a primary lesson that glorified lying to law enforcement when the Church leaders were hiding due to polygamy prosecutions in the late 1800's." (source) Needless to say, there is no such lesson.

By the way, he's also lying when he claims that he sends all his posts to an old Army buddy in another state, who then posts them on his behalf. Apparently a lot of people on this board were born yesterday.

Frankly, I doubt that you are a human being. I have no evidence that you are not a piece of software resident in the memory of a internet-connected server. Until I see evidence otherwise I will make the assumption you have been programmed to lie.

Along the same vein, did everyone know that Glen Beck raped a girl in 1990?

Nevo isn't a human? Interesting idea. Of course I have long held suspicions about him/it but could never seem to come up with an intelligent explanation for his odd behavior. Yes, I think you have figured it out. I look forward to further revelations regarding our red headed nephew.

No, GB did not. 1-1 ain't bad though, Merky.

Jersey Girl, how many times have you attended an LDS Church? Or interacted with an LDS Bishop, excluding Internet message boards? I'm just curious.

Why? Is it that you think I've never attended an LDS Church? That I've never interacted with an LDS Bishop? That you think that based on your assumptions that I don't have anything to base my opinion of plausiblity on?

Your own posts on this thread and those of others, indicate that it's plausible.
