Can one 'serve Satan' and still be a 'good guy'?

Have not asked this one in church meetings yet though it is prompted by a lesson about Black/White and you choose Satan or Choose The Lord!

Since Satan is 'the father of all lies', how can those who lie for LDS, Inc. be good servants of The Lord?
Paul Dunn is only one small example here and The Brethren apparently knew for years he was lying. Nothing happened to him but the reporter that brought out the Truth was fired and basically run out of Utah for it.

Suppose you work for a corp/business/person and it comes out the thing is pretty much corrupt. Somehow you are 'working for Satan'. Maybe even for something that comes out as virulent anti Christian. Are you still 'a good guy'?

If one turns out to be a child molester but has been a great Primary teacher or Scout Leader for years, with many, many former students/scouts testifying about what a great person they are and how they influenced them for the Good. Is this 'a good guy'?

Another way to put is would be 'is it OK to Lie for The Lord, knowing 'Satan is the father of All Lies'?

Sure. Afterall, Satan is "a man of wealth and taste". You just won't get to heaven if you do but you might convince a lot of people that you are a "good guy" and actually help him lay your soul to waste.

Sympathy for the Devil

Twice in the last forty years I have encountered Satan. Both encounters would not have lasted no more than a minute. He was in both instances striving seriously to prevent or derail my spiritual advancement.

Twenty-three days into forty-three days of an epic fast back in the mid-nineties I became aware of the "otherside" for a period of three straight days. I could feel the basking love of God that radiates there, which is another dimension of the same space we occupy here in the physical world. Having this reality made plainly manifest the extension of other degrees of glory is no stretch.

Did you actually see him? My aunt claims to have seen him and said he was the most beautiful being she's ever seen.

I'd just like to get a second opinion.

I was going to CFR, but then I saw the quote to the Rolling Stones video.

Then I was going to say, "Just because the Rolling Stones said it doesn't mean it's true," but my moral integrity forces me to concede that actually it does.

Touché.

The interesting thing is that Mick Jagger, wearing the same coat as he does in here, could be featured as Satan in a certain video and the temple ceremony wouldn't miss a beat.

I think you've about proved my point. Thanks, Nightlion.

There has to be...as Kryten pointed out, if there isn't, then where do all the calculators go?

CFR that Satan exists.

I don't know that I've ever met him. I probably get the minor league demons. They tell me to do things like burn the world, buy lottery tickets, and flatter me to convince me I don't need God or at least to see him as an equal and not a God.
