Should BYU change its mascot?
Since a cougar is now a middle aged woman that likes sex with younger men, naming your football team the Cougars is demeaning to all LDS women who are trying to live the law of chastity and teach sexual purity to their children. Should BYU change its mascot to something more appropriate for an LDS school? Having your football team named the Cougars is the same as naming them the MILFs, or the Housewife Hoes, or the Mature Sluts. How about a name that better describes a righteous middle-aged LDS woman, such as The BYU Visiting Teachers, or the BYU Fighting Organists, or the BYU Temple Matrons.

Considering the many at the school with tendencies towards each other and Hawaii no longer using the name how about 'rainbow warriors'?
Even better is 'saccharine hypocrites'.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.

No change is necessary as someone must step up to keep the original and better meaning of the word.

How heretical. Was that supposed to impress? Does it change the fact that you're a bigot?

Your bigotry. Your hatred of homosexuals. Your refusal to accept them as human beings worthy of respect.
I'm not going to let you go on this one. All of your appeals to Mormonism are worthless, and your blind leaders and their pop-religious-psychology about homosexuality and its "curability". The Evergreen mob and their 19th century BS, endorsed by the GAs.
You live in a Flat-Earth society.

I don't think I've said boo about homosexuality in weeks around here. Way to derail a thread Ray. If you want to discuss this topic then go start a new one.

From your pet page (Newsroom - Approaching Mormon Doctrine, SALT LAKE CITY 4 May 2007):
"Those writing or commenting on Latter-day Saint doctrine also need to understand that certain words in the Mormon vocabulary have slightly different meanings and connotations than those same words have in other religions."
Please step up to keep the original and better meaning of that certain words.
OK, this is off.

I would suggest changing the mascot to the BYU Tapirs. No disagreement on the meaning of the word except they have been mistaken for horses pulling chariots.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.
