I don't think I meant anything in particular by it. It's an idiom describing a group of people engaged in a common interest, is it not?

What do you think I meant by it? Does it have negative connotations here of which I am unaware? Have I offended you? If so, I apologize. For what, I am uncertain. But whatever it was, I assure you it was unintentional.

Do you happen to know the story behind this?

Ask Dan to tell you his story about working on a church manual where he was to write the lesson on the story in Acts where Paul is giving a talk and a boy in the rafters falls and dies. Peterson’s version made it through editing and correlation before Dan pointed out the problem.

Did you used to work in correlation?

PS. Clubs can be pretty cool, so I wouldn't necessarily associate it with something negative. But I'm curious why you use the word club at all. Just curious, not offended. Are you offended thinking that I might have been offended?

Behind what?

Did you used to work in correlation?

I’m sorry, I don’t know what you mean by “in correlation.”

My, it seems there are many things I have must have missed despite having followed this place for several weeks now! Are these all reserved code words of some kind? Is there a list of them somewhere? A glossary of terms?

I'm guessing Scratch. Anyone else want to guess?

I'll take a shot in the dark.

I will guess an old and precious friend from long ago at LDS.NET.
None other then the very kind and gentle " Misshalfway ".

ProfessorQ, it seems to me that people are assuming you are a sock puppet (the term for a forum regular who posts under a new profile/username for him/herself, in hopes of having a little fun with the other regulars). That is why you are getting questions that don't make sense. That is, unless you are a sock puppet, lol.

Oh.

Why would they think that? What did I say?

My, my, my! I didn't think it was going to be so hard to "blend in."

You should have a self-guided tutorial or something of the sort.

Four separated sentences using irony. Fluid use of emphasis.

Mr. Plumber, please! There is no need to be insulting. Give a girl a chance.
