It is gross error to equate Dr. Peterson with The Devil.
The Devil is breathtakingly handsome. You've heard about him, you say? Did you know he has blue eyes and blue jeans? Well, he does. I've met him.
Gotta run! Someone's at the door...

zeezrom wrote:my wife just purchased a DVD with Old Testament stories and commentary from Deseret Book Distribution. We watched the story of Moses being visited by Jehovah and Satan for FHE. It begins with Moses having a vision of the whole world and everything that ever transpired. He was all white and shiny and had a white staff like Gandalf's in Lord of the Rings. Then the vision ended and Satan appeared and this really creepy music came on and the earth quaked and clouds rolled in etc. It was like watching a horror flick without the blood. My poor children were all completely captivated. I'm thinking of having a frank talk with them tonight because this film likely did more harm than good.
Here is a question for Z and his lovely wife:
Who killed more people in the Old Testament? God or Satan.
'nuff said.

Thank you. And I would venture to guess the answer to be neither.
Maybe same answer to "who scared more people?"
Maybe the people themselves...?
But that is kind of an unbeliever's view of the Bible. (gasp, gulp)
Or a view of the Bible that God gives more control to humans than we thought...

Depends on when Bridget can get me that reference of Mormon Doctrine on the push-up bra. If we have the green light, then I'm picking up a "guy card" tonight and we are going shopping baby! http://www.mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=299994#p299994
Personally, I would be a fish out of water in normal underwear. Not sure I could take that step...

Dare to dream... you have no idea what you're missing.

I LOVE THAT SONG!
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Yeah, it has that disco-meets-country feel.
We could do a funkymean two-step to it, couldn't we?! I know you know how, Harm.
I'm gettin' weaker and he's comin' on strong...but I don't wanna go wrong...

Hi KimberlyAnn,
I have that song on one of the 1980’s CD that I have.
