This raises a good point. What if Mr. Garn claimed an angel instructed him to get into the hot tub at the point of a drawn sword? Also, what if the girl said she was skeptical at first, but then received a confirmation that it was right? I honestly can't see how anyone that gives Joseph Smith a pass for his polygamous activities could condemn Garn under these facts.

Oh well, I really need to move on with my life.
