It was asked in a way that showed great concern for my ability to act as a good, moral father and husband without believing some things.
I want to understand what it means - what is the truth about it. I want to know what it meant in the Old Testament and New Testament.
Zeezrom- This is an interesting point. It was one that troubled me as I went through my own faith crisis. I am wondering what, if any, conclusions you have drawn.

Currently, I believe the priesthood had it's usefulness in the Old Testament and that Christ is the High Priest and that by following Christ we have what we need to be a good person that receives help from a higher power.
But I had to back up even further and take a look at my belief in God and the "higher power." I'm trying to build my own personal case for Christ...
I'm enjoying the book Mere Christianity right now.

Thanks for explaining that. I remember enjoying Mere Christianity when I read it about 5 years ago.
