If you could change ONE thing about the Mormon church
If you could change ONE thing about the Mormon church
What would you change, and why?
Re: If you could change ONE thing about the Mormon church
I would make it true.

Make it be true, because it is not.

I was going to say what Darth J said. Too late.
I would make it true, since any other adjustment to the institutional would make it as irrelevant as any other change.
If you could apply lipstick to a pig, what color would you choose?

You're just copying me, Mr. Anderson!
But let's think this over. Would we really want all of their BS to be true?

I, for one, would not want it to be true, and am eternally grateful it is not.

Well, let's continue to think this through.

Well, you are assuming that the church would in any way look, act or behave the same if it were "true".
You know that quiet bystander who sees a child fall into a lake, jumps in and risks their life to save that child wanting no fame or fanfare? That is probably what a "true" church would look like.

You beat me to the punch.
But, yes I agree with you.
It would be worse if it was true.

I would have better feelings toward the church, if it weren't for their "truth" claim, and the "pushing" it onto people.
