It is you who are wrong, Harmony. Your error is to assume that leading Mopologetics is a simple matter of being the brightest when in reality cunning, resourcefulness, and a love of skewering one's opponents are far more important personal attributes. Bear in mind that long ago, Stan Barker was leading Shields and Shields was the premiere apologetic institution making him essentially the de facto leader of Mopologetics during that time.

I wonder if others here have been following the exciting developments on the "BYU Archaeological Discovery" thread over on the aptly named MADboard, in particular, the noteworthy contributions from DanGB. For instance, he observed that some of John Clark's remarks on the subject were every bit as good as an excellent talk in F&T meeting. I'd like to echo DanGB's observations and go him one further: I think that Clark's comments are every bit as compelling as any of the speeches on "Mormon Scholars Testify." Why some apologists think this constitutes "a puerile attempt at an insult" is anyone's guess.

Here is a blurb from what he says: "Mormon Scholars Testify is a joke, an irrelevancy, a failure, and etc., and yet there's a parody website devoted to making fun of it, a mirror website that imagines itself to be responding to it, and roughly a dozen or so threads on one anti-Mormon message board alone (that I'm aware of) devoted to criticizing it. "
A mirror site that imagines itself?? Uh,, We are not imagining anything, we are balancing his site. I think in his brain he wants average non-educated members to say "Hey, Look at these smart people, they STILL believe? I guess I can too."
I love getting TBM's and apologists riled up with the website. Awesome.
One last thing. FAIR claims to to be fair, but they are quite the opposite. If they were fair they would link to us and we would link to them. Everyone gets to see all the evidence, 'testimonies' etc. I am willing to bet if I asked Dan to link to Ex-MST he wouldn't give it a second chance.
I was considering making a new site called UNFAIRLDS.org to balance FAIR but when I tried the domain was already taken. By who? No other than FAIR themselves. http://www.whois.net/whois/unfairlds.org
When the church starts a site they usually buy all the domains that will counter what they are trying to do. To bad Dan was to late acquiring EX-MST.

Umm. "FAIR" is not the church. I think this battle for domain squatting by FAIR supporters has been fought and won. By them. And rightfully so.
