There is nothing in the article about why. Was there a lack of evidence? Some major police screwup?

I know...it disgusts me beyond belief. I hope our posters who are attorneys have some insight on this. The victims didn't want to proceed. (Who the hell can blame them??) The brief article I referenced says this cannot be refiled...does that mean that it can't be refiled in county court and is there some other recourse?

From the article:
"Mohave County Attorney Matt Smith says the two alleged victims in the cases no longer want to proceed with prosecution in Arizona."
I guess if the "victims" recant, and there is no other evidence, there is no crime.
