The Real Reorganized Church.
Given the many changes the Salt Lake City based church has gone through wouldn't it be better for the church to be called the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Can we have a list or some examples of the changes you are talking about?

No. The LDS Church has never been "reorganized."
Maybe the Occasionally Modified Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Not Quite What The Label Says Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is a more apt title.

How about the Selectively Amnesiac Church of Mammon?

Good day, Mr Antley.
What is your definition of "reorganized"? As I recall from my active days--a dimming recollection as the years keep numbering up since then--there were constant reorganizations. Reorganizations of the First Presidency, of the Quorum of the Seventy, dispensing with the Office of Church Patriarch (that one was an inevitable reorganizing), reorganizing stakes, wards, missions and branches. Seems to me that the Mormon Church loved the concept and the word reorganizing--but there seems some resistance to including the word in the church's title. Is that because there was another organization that went by that name for many, many years before switching to Community of Christ?

Spider.

+1 :-)
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
