I think that there are pairs of Elders out there making that large-scale trial right now, and have been for years Wonder what kinds of results they are getting from their survey? Either thoughtful people (in the sense explained above) are very, very rare, or it looks like I'm right, doesn't it?

Yup, growing from one person to over twelve million people in under 200 years is a testament to your correctness.

Please.

Oh, and need we start a thread on how utterly stupid atheism is? I thought not.

Sigh.

Not collecting stamps is not a hobby.

Not playing football is not a sport.

Not believing in any religion is not a religion.

You are welcome, of course, to start a thread making any criticisms of atheism you like.

Like everyone else, I am entitled to my opinion. I would never picket an atheist gathering, or publish an anti-atheist book, because it would be immoral.

Yet he referred to "people like me."

I did. I said
I am opposed to people like you taking it upon themselves to judge other people and other groups who are doing no harm to anyone by merely existing.

And I am opposed to it. It is my opinion. It is not a personal attack on you because I do not know you.

My point is that you're including me in the group of people whom you are judging as immoral for engaging in anti-mormonism. That indicates you are casting a pretty wide net in your "anti-mormonism is immoral" charge.

To me, that indicates you are including people who simply criticize Mormonism.

You couldn't have typed that with straight face...

Okay, you're right. I should not have included you without knowing you. I maintain that it is our constitutional right, and our God given free will to criticize anything we wish. It is immoral to protest, pamphlet, or publish against an organization.

Thank you for that concession.

It continues to be ridiculous to claim it is immoral to protest, pamphlet, or publish against an organization. For heaven's sake, people printing up secret pamphlets against Nazism in Nazi Germany would be "immoral" under your philosophy.

When applied to Nazism, since it is clear that Nazism clearly harms people, it would not be immoral to try to stop it.

Is it "immoral" to protest scientology or does that group somehow fit under the the arbitrary oxy "faith group" umbrella?
