I am the admin for http://www.exmormonscholarstestify.org and we are making a push to add new testimonies.

As some of you know, I made the site to balance Dan Peterson's website, mormonscholarstestify.org . His site is continually getting submissions, (95% are staff at BYU, go figure) but we are now trying to find more people.

Here is what we define a 'scholar'

"This website is designed for ex-Mormon scholars, intellectuals, authors or anyone who has special knowledge of Mormonism by study, via authoring books or speaking at ex-Mormon related conferences.

Some testimonies are from the dictionary definition of scholar or someone who holds a PhD or Professor from a university and others are from ex-members regarded as 'scholars of Mormonism' by the ex-Mormon community."

If you, or anyone you know would like to participate, go to the site and email me.

Would you accept submissions from a liberal Mormon?

Well, I mean liberal in the "liberal Christian" sense where Christ wasn't divine, etc....

I'm still a Mormon ... always will be but I don't believe the Book of Mormon is in any way historical. Yet, I do find many of its teachings and stories inspiring.

Its been a while since I've poked around Mormon Scholars Testify but I don't think you have explicit statements about the Book of Mormon or Joseph's Smiths theophanies being allegorical etc...

Seth, for what it's worth, you're just the right amount of Mormon for me.

Really? Viewing the Book of Mormon as inspiring fiction constitutes cognitive dissonance?
