Mr. jskains,

When the others posted their responses, they were exercising their freedom of speech--okay, scratch that, the 'latitude' of speech that Shades (and the Mods and their Rules) deign to give the posters. It is the same latitude that made it possible for you to post your opinions in the first place.

It seems your real gripe is that critics outnumber apologists here. That would be an astute observation. If that bothers you, you certainly may recruit more of your mopologetic brethren and sisters to join in the discussions here.

It is very myopic and egocentric to think that those here that disagree with your expressed opinions should sit idly by, posting nothing in response. This is not a Sacrament Meeting where you are at the podium giving a talk and all others are to sit quiet and go 'amen' when you finish.

If you do not like that it gets a bit bawdy here, then there's the Celestial Forum with heavy moderation, just as there is the Telestial Forum for critics who tire of apologists pulling the 'sacred' card if mention is made about what goes on inside the temple.

You've been invited, by none other than Doctor Scratch himself, to start afresh here. Stop carrying on about how you do not like it in the 'cesspool'. If that's true, you have already done about as slow a drive by as is possible. Take Doctor Scratch up on his suggestion. Start with a new slate. Tell us what you think about Mormon issues and why. Show emotion when it is genuine.

The choice is yours.

Regards,

Spider.

But wait.. He said so.. He said so with such great authority... And he did so illegally abusing a copyrighted image of 'The Architect". He's so AWESOME! :)

I think the illusion of freedom is there. The reality not so much.

Josh, I wish you the best. Live your faith and prosper. But I also hope that somewhere along the line you wise up concerning the issue of freedom.

I love it. Such an emblem of the mentality here. Because I disagree with you, I need to "wise up".

This place is drenched in logical fallacy.

Mr. jskains,

Said another way, come and join in and tell us what you think of Mormon issues. There's plenty of room for your pro-Mormon views.

It is tiring for you to act like your a dispassionate third party making a valid assessement, when all you are doing is tossing incendiary bombs at us.

Yes josh, people throw bombs here. You are hardly the only one who does that. The difference is that we don't complain about the board, etc. , we address the bombs being thrown, or ignore them. At least, most of the time.
