Re: Scratch's Tactics
This thread is likely Exhibit #39 for Doctor Scratch about your board-nannying.
Although I do admit, being a whiny tattle-tale was something I remember from my time as a TBM, particularly on a mission, was encouraged and rewarded. So maybe this thread is a legitimate Mormon topic.

I don't know that there's much you can do.
liz3564 wrote:What do you think should be done?
If both parties agree to the posting, I think it should be allowed.
liz3564 wrote:Should I suspend Scratch for posting information on a blog that he owns?
Nope, that's clearly out of bounds.
liz3564 wrote:Honestly, I think this is a situation where, if you are really worried about character assassination, or your career, you may want to think about contacting an attorney.
I don't think there's much that could be done in the legal arena.
liz3564 wrote:I'm not being glib. I just don't know what you expect me to do here.
Well, nothing in particular, but I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion as a board participant.
liz3564 wrote:Also....Jersey Girl is right. You have not broken any rules in your OP.
Okay.
liz3564 wrote:And, Ttribe, for what it's worth....I agree with Jersey Girl's above comment as well. ;-)
Thanks.

So, in your book, self-defense is "board nannying." Well, there you go....

what exactly have you defended? Maybe, what, 6 people on this site actually know and care about who you are and my guess is that their opinion didn't change based on your OP....the rest of us don't care and see your version of "self-defense" as whining...entertaining in a "can't turn your head from a car accident" sort of way, but still whining...the idea that you actually think you have "defended" yourself is kinda funny...

ttribe,
You want to be a Christian and take persecution as your Lord did whom you claim to follow? Then take it like a man and move on. Quit complaining or the good Lord will get annoyed and bring further persecution on your ass untill you learn your lessons. You're being a big baby.
For God's sake -- you Mormons are the hardest to convert to Christianity. Turn your Goddamn cheek and take it! Go read your scriptures and learn about humility and stop worrying about your reputation. Mormons! They are so wrapped up in worldliness. Pathetic.

Re: Scratch's Tactics
I am consistent in my belief that the PM rule is lame. If ttribe felt threatened by a PM from my good friend Phineas, I think he is right to post it and make it public. I counseled Jersey Girl to do the same when DCP sent her PMs that she considered uninvited. If I ever receive a PM I feel is threatening, I will have no problem posting it here. EA sent me one a while back that I almost posted on the board. If anyone ever feels one of my PMs is threatening, I will understand if they post it.
I would love for the full exchange of PMs between Doctor Scratch an ttribe to be made available for analysis and debate.
I can give Shades credit on one thing in regard to this PM rule: while I completely disagree with it, he does enforce it equally and with no partisanship. While ttribe is free to complain that Shades is merely doing the bidding of Scratch -- something he wouldn't be able to do on MAD -- the reality is that this is obviously not given the case given the ban a while back. Of course, I don't think Scratch is putting any pressure on Shades at all and that this is a narrative of ttribe's creation. My opinion is that Phineas desires Dr. Shades run the board to the best of his ability, even if that means they disagree.

Well, Paul, I'll be the first to tell you - I have a LONG way to go to be more like the Savior.
