Salt Lake City - A Standard to the World

I'm in South Korea on a project and what comes on the TV? News about the bribery scandal in the FIFA (Controlling Body for the World Soccer League - you know the World Cup) and how it is a big problem.

The moderator for the discussion panel sets the stage by asking the panel members "if it is to the LEVEL OF CORRUPTION FOUND IN THE SLC OLYMPIC SCANDAL" or less than that. Each panelist then made personal opinion based on that standard of corruption and what the IOC did versus what the FIFA should do about the problem.

Yep - SLC and Mormons the World Standard for Corruption

And Mitt Romney was 100% innocent.

TSCC wanted to post missionaries on every corner. Thankfully it didn't happen. Most of the world that came here ignored the big cult - even if there was an Olympic mural hanging on their phallic symbol.

TSCC was putting on shows in the great and spacious building. They even had pictures of skiers and so forth on their tickets. But when you got into the building, and thought you would see something on the Olympics, it was nothing but a big show about Joseph Smith. So many people got up and walked out even though the tickets were free.

Stupid cult.

Like the Mountain Meadows Massacre use a Mormon Federal Judge (David Sam) and you always get the verdict you want - Once again the Mormon Standard of Corruption

It has been a while since I looked at the facts (I did some work on this matter; my firm represented the SLOC), but what Welch and the other guy did was not a criminal violation -- providing perqs to the foreign Olympic Committees.

There were zero convictions in this country. I don't think there were in other countries.

I never followed the Olympic scandal. So since there were no convictions, what was it all about? False rumors? There was actually nothing shady going on?

There is a wiki entry somewhere that explains it all. It violated internal rules of some of the countries' olympic committees.

The allegation (not the proof) was the two SLOC officials gave scholarships to kids of the countries committees, among other things.
