Here is an
article found on lds.org that describes some details of Zina Jacob's life. The article describes how she married Brigham Young.
Why do you think the article did not mention her marriage to Joseph Smith?
Was it: (please refer to the poll)
Thank you,
Zee.

I need to add a question:
Do you think children are not bothered knowing Zina married BY because they do not actually know who BY was married to before her so it is kind of like throwing another rock in the hat which already has lots of rocks anyway?
If a child heard Zina married Joseph Smith, would they freak out because they currently only know of a single rock in the hat: Emma?
Maybe this was to protect the children...

The reality of all of this Mormon history is had we been taught all of this BS (that we are now freaking about), taught this as a child, we would not be adults freaking out about it.
I think LDS Inc is very aware of this and is an about face from the past attempt to try and forget about it, and is now attempting to innoculate all members with a shot from Dr. Bushman.. all of course due to the great whore of truth, the infobahn.

Yeah, I thought that was interesting as well. It definitely takes away some of the truth to the matter.
Well, kids - the brainwashing begins....

That article was dated 1989... smack in the middle of what I call the "omission plan"..
Given how many of the current adult members were raised during the omission era and the mainstreaming of the church to draw in more outsiders, its gonna be tough times ahead for LDS Inc as to what to teach and what to keep omitted..
