From My Informant: DCP & Schryver Ordered to Stand Down

It has been an extremely long time since I heard from this particular "informant." This individual (or set of individuals) has been one of the most reliable sources of provocative and interesting information pertaining to the behind-the-scenes activities of the Mopologists. This latest bit of information proved especially interesting, as it concerns two of the more "powerful" apologists.
According to my informant, "strict orders have come down from Salt Lake City...that Dan Peterson and William Schryver are no longer to participate in message board discussions with ex-Mormons or anti-Mormons." I understand this to mean that the Brethren personally ordered both DCP and Schryver to "bow out" of messageboard discussions. Apparently they will still be permitted to make announcements (e.g., about the latest issue of FROB), but they are absolutely forbidden from engaging with "the enemy." This means, further, that we will never see either of them participating here on Mormon Discussions. Doing so, from what I can gather, would represent a serious affront to the General Authorities, and would constitute a major act of insubordination.
As always, I urge caution with this sort of "intel." Obviously, either Schryver or DCP could easily disprove the allegation by surfacing here on MDB and getting into a heated discussion. But if my "informant" is correct, neither of them will do this. I myself remain skeptical, but I have to admit that a few things suggest that the allegations are correct. Both DCP and Schryver have recently said that they won't be participating on online discussions any more. Further, Dr. Peterson has essentially ceased any of his normal written apologetics in the FARMS Review. And my "informant" has been saying for close to a year now that the apologists were being ordered to "Turn Chapel" by the Brethren. In light of all that, this seems like yet more confirmation as to the veracity of the allegations.
Still, I urge skepticism and caution.
