Hopefully Dr. Shades, our overlord isn't allergic to Queen. Just kidding, love ya Dr. Shades😁
No, I like Queen. The only thing I’m allergic to around here is criticism of, and disrespect to, Perfume, the official Japanese electro-pop group of DiscussMormonism.com.
I hope you took my link to the Chippet's (the female counterparts to Simon, Theodore, and Alvin) video as a tribute to Perfume, rather than a copycat group seeking fame on Perfume's style.

I was booted a couple of times, but just for a short time, like a few days.
This board became the safety net and home for those booted by MAD. It is nice to have a place of safety where what you say does not have to be so guarded.

Glad there was a spot for those banned. I guess what I like about MDDB is the format is larger, better for my eyes, haha. I get feedback and thanks for yours Moksha! I have somewhere to vent to believing LDS and get some help where needed in case I'm not informed with the full truth. Believe it or not, exmormon reddit etc. or other places don't always put things in context. So I like to see both sides of the issues.

Know what you mean, that Ex-Mormon Reddit seems rather strident and young. I have enough time keeping up with the Urban Dictionary expressions here; along with post-doctoral words from scholars like Kishkumen and Gadianton. Dr. Scratch, Shulem, and Dr. Dan Peterson have the explaining level I need. They are sort of like the Rachel Maddow of the forums because their reasoning is clear, concise, and not over my head.

They've got some very understandable people over at MD&D, but they frequently need to resort to sophistry. I love the posters over there who insist that reality take precedence over faith promotion. You, John Williams, Cinepro, and Nehor are some of my favorites.

by the way, you can adjust the font size with your browser. I wish this forum had the capacity to post videos like MD&D, but that might not be wise on the Spirit Paradise forum.

Moksha, thanks for the reply, they are some of my favorites, John, Cinepro and Nehor. I think the MD&D board know me better than people that know me outside of cyberspace. I'm unable to be my true self with some TBM family and friends.

I went to the MD&D board one day somehow, don't know how, and it prompted me to register and in my naïvété I thought it mean't in order to read posts I needed to register. And the first few months they really hated me. But I guess when I stuck around (I am my own worst enemy) they've accepted me for the most part. Nehor and I align a lot in the political sphere and we PM'd a lot during the Trump/Biden running.

I've enjoyed the Ex-Mormon Reddit too, but my go to is MD&D. But I like this board, would like it more if I knew more posters better. Thanks for your kind posts!

Tacenda, do you have any idea why there are no threads about Elder Holland's Musket Fire speech at BYU? I was surprised to find no apologetics regarding this topic. Wonder if it was too hot to handle or whether everyone just took it in stride?

Hold the presses! I found it way below. by the way, it has been discovered that LQBTQ-friendly chalk art is allowable in Salt Lake City, but not on the BYU campus. Something to do with "rules of blood and iron which are eternally the same" whatever that means. Sounds more like meat than milk theology.

Hello, but why only greet the boys?
I think "boys" in Hebrew means "humanity". He is using Biblical language.
