When I wake up tomorrow I won't post here and you won't hear from me for 24hrs. I'll stay in spirit paradise and hopefully lem and doc cam will follow me back down there and we can work this out in spirit paradise. The only reason I'll come back is if they're still continuing the ongoing crap show here in the terrestrial. You seem like a really good guy and I like your mustache, so I'll leave just for you. Does that seem fair?
But I would like to ask you guys some questions in the future. Just gotta figure out what to ask. Thanks

NO. The ONLY reason you will come back is to discuss the topic here. Keep the drama and personal stuff not related to Mormonism down there. Here we have good and ongoing discussions about Mormonism. It isn't hard to grasp. You don't keep coming back here and interrupting with personal arguments about irrelevant stuff here. You do that there. Thanks man, and have a great day!

Well, that's disappointing. Here's how I see it. There's a thread here that you are not pleased to have in the terrestrial forum. You see me as part of the problem. Since you apologized to me I apologized to you and offered to leave the terrestrial for 24hrs to give this place a one day cool off period, hopefully. During that time you could've messaged doc cam and said, hey, Mike is out of here, could you stop picking on ceeboo so he doesn't come back?? You could've messaged lem and said, hey, this thread you started has backfired miserably, Mike is out of here, can you take this fight back down to spirit paradise?? You could've messaged me and said thanks for leaving, anything you need me to do?? And I would've said, yeah! Tell doc cam to stop picking on ceeboo and ask him to stop posting pictures of a maga baby in the terrestrial and I'll keep my butt in the spirit paradise. There's all kinds of ways you could've dealt with a cool off period. You could've just done absolutely nothing and watched to see if everyone calmed down. But instead, you reject my offer and then start explaining to me what I will and won't do. You're not my dad sir. Why are you capitalizing "NO" and "ONLY"? Do you actually believe that's helping? You didn't even need to respond! If you would've just let my offer stand, I wouldn't be typing this response back to you. I would've stayed in spirit paradise.

Mike, Neither Philo nor anyone else is responsible for how you choose to behave. You, and only you, are responsible for your choices. Nobody cares where you post, as long as you follow the rules for the specific sub-forum you choose to post in.
No one here has any incentive to make a deal with you over your behavior. You do you. I do me. Philo does Philo. It’s not hard.
You’ve described yourself as having come through a faith crisis. I hope that you are. But having watched lots and lots of LDS folks go through faith crises, odds are that you aren’t done yet. Not even close.
There are very good and wise folks here who would be happy to help you through that, should you need it. But right now, you’re pissing in their cornflakes. How does that make any sense?
Just worry about Mike’s behavior. Stop trying to make others behave in ways that you want them to behave. Take responsibility for all of your own behavior and only your own behavior. If you do, I’m betting you’ll form some good relationships that make this an interesting place to hang out.

Welcome, Mike.
Why are you guys so personally upset that most of us in the Terrestrial forum have no desire whatsoever to peek into the Paradise forum and pretend that drama is interesting? I mean I get Lem brought it here into one thread when she talked about a couple of trolls, which I assume is you and Cultellus. Can we at minimum leave it in that thread?
Also, I hate to be that guy, but, could you please fix all of your "could ofs" to "could haves"? It's eating at me like nothing has before.

I too collect bibles that Joseph Smith owned. From what I know he owned three different ones. The one you metion must be the Phinney Bible as it was the one he is known to have owned in 1829 when he was working of the translation of the Bible.. Can you tell me what year it is? I happen to own several.

I'm not sure if you would be interested in sharing more information about your Bible collection, but if you would be, I would really enjoy learning a lot more about it. Perhaps a new thread? (If you are interested)
