Single Mormon Woman's Sexuality
An interesting article from the New York Times by a single Mormon woman and her search for sexuality. I thought some of you might be interested.

Good thing some of you who cite Jacob and the weeping of some of David's wives (he had 200 not including concubines) can ignore this downside to forced monogamy.
How many women missing out on marriage and children to worthy males are sad? Oh right, they can just wait until the next life.

Hi Fiannan,
Interesting take on the article. I'm a nevermo so that aspect hadn't occurred to me at all.

Thanks for the link, Quasimodo.
I couldn't help but think of our own Nehor when the author wrote this about the pickings of Mormon men who did not get married young:
"So why wasn’t I dating Mormon men? In a nutshell, the pool is small, and people marry young, for obvious reasons. The leftovers were left over: closeted gay men, porn-addicted virgins, along with the merely awkward, uncompromising and unlucky. "

My pleasure, sock.
Sounds like slim pickings for older Mormon girls.

Re: Single Mormon Woman's Sexuality
That's a very interesting article, but I do know several single men in the Church who don't fit the profile (unless they're gay and I don't know it).
