That is a freakin' huge chart!

You can sometimes get LDS to agree that some of the laws of Moses were simply products of their time....but they still believe they are all from God. *headscratch*

Last week in Gospel Doctrine, we were talking about the punishments that would await Mary for becoming pregnant before she married Joseph. I was going to comment on the irony of those punishments stemming from the Old Testament law that Jesus himself had actually given the people, but kept my mouth shut.

But after the class I mentioned my potential comment to the teacher, and he laughed and said he wished I had pointed that out. So maybe in 2015.

I guess that means God was a product of the time too. In other words, we made God up. ;)

Totally awesome. Yeah, Jehovah was in his angry stage during the Old Testament era.

Jehovah was best when he was imbibing wine during New Testament days.

Old Testament=no mention of Jehovah drinking wine=ornrey god

New Testament=Jehovah drinks wine=benevolent god

Restoration=Jehovah forbids drinking=Mormon god

No wonder the Mormon jehovah resembles the Old Testament jehovah more than the New Testament jehovah.
