I stand for the sames things here as I do on any discussion board. The members of this discussion board don't treat me as a pariah for my unorthodox beliefs and for my doubts in the Mormon church, and perhaps you are witnessing a tit-for-tat - the more I'm openly welcome, the more I open up.

ya...i don't care for the one told in the OP either.

Its the "i'm right because I used to be a member and know more than you" story that causes puking here. The "definitely you're wrong because I used to be there and the Church just can't be right because I say so" without leaving room for other possiblities.

My favorite is the guy that left the church because Joseph Smith spelled his name wrong on his mission papers. Yeah, that's why people were leaving the church back then.

Here there are no standards at all...are you sure this is where you want to be welcome? Satan himself would be welcome here. Anybody can post here.

kinda welcome. The site says everyone is welcome but posters have said I came uninvited. hmm....I guess I can still post....just not welcome post from some folks' perspective.

But satan could probably post at MDD if'n he kept the rules.

Satan *may* post here, yes, but Satan *definitely* posts over on the MADB - his name is USU78.

Pathetic. Instead of "LDS Toronto", why not change it to just "Toronto"?

I am not so sure Satan would be more comfortable here. At least on the other board no one could criticize him for being Satan. Personal attack are not allowed over there.

It would be amusing to create a sock puppet named Satan over there and totally hold the TBM line. I wonder if he would get banned anyways?

What's pathetic is your use of the very standards that you criticize.

Heck, even Joseph Smith would be welcome here!
