I know - I'm agreeing with you! It's very courageous of you to unresistingly yield yourself to the cruel lashes and beating and crucifixion you endure here on a daily basis! Future generations will hail your brave sacrifice and laud your user name. "Love ya tons" will feature prominently on signs displayed at football games in the future. I'm sure of it.

Pathetic. Instead of "LDS Toronto", why not change it to just "Toronto"?[/quote]

What's pathetic is your use of the very standards that you criticize.

You dared name someone Satan...just suggesting a name change for you. Dropping my beloved "LDS".

Heck, even Joseph Smith would be welcome here!

No just Satan...Joseph Smith is not welcome here now.

I'm not surprised. I was merely commenting on the "welcoming" environment. I've seen plenty of non-welcome responses to me to get an idea of how Joseph Smith would be welcome here.

I can't think of ANYTHING more fun and exciting than for Joseph Smith to show up here! A chance for all of us to ask questions and get responses from the horse's mouth (or at least some part of the horse's anatomy).
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Seeing the quality of posts that do gain respect, I'm not sure I'm game to bend to your demands. Whether I'm geniune or not is only known by me. Its up to you to make judgments and pronouncements about me, if ya like.

Bend to my demands? More of your overactive imagination. It was clearly a suggestion.

Your 'love ya tons' is disingenuous because you cannot love a person you do not know, LDS assertions to the contrary notwithstanding. (Besides, love is not measured in 'tons' but in 'lightyears per microsecond.')

Your folksy, gee-whiz, hee-haw demeanor seems forced and affected. Indeed, during long interchanges, you seem to drop out of it altogether, as if the effort to maintain is just too great. Just be yourself and drop the façade; you'll fit in much better around here.

I think Joseph Smith would be much more welcome here than at MADB. The apologists seem to be embarrassed of Joseph.

On another board there was a poster who constantly wrote as if he were a 19th century prospector. Even though I agreed with his opinions, I found the affectation irritating.

Your demands for me to gain your respect....Makes sense to me. I get that it was a suggestion, but the suggestion held a contingent of how, in your view, my posts would be respected.

Your 'love ya tons' is disingenuous because you cannot love a person you do not know, LDS assertions to the contrary notwithstanding. (Besides, love is not measured in 'tons' but in 'lightyears per microsecond.')

My goodness...I wonder what it'd be like to know the hearts of others. Sure I love ya tons. If you don't like that, then so be it.

It seems I'd fit in much better around here if I simply whimpered and whined about individual posters. But alas, I simply am not game for that. I've enjoyed a few conversations I've had here, and hope to have more.

pep pep... that's funny. I'm sure the apologists posting over at MDD would be calling Joseph Smith all sorts of colorful names and intimate he deserves all sorts of mistreatment.
