A TBM person (close to me) showed me this news article:
http://www.deseretnews.com/top/97/814/1 ... th-Jr.html
It lists the most controversial wikipedia articles (with Joseph Smith = #1). I'm left wondering what exactly this person's point was in showing this to me. Maybe that the controversy comes from Satan? Or that the prophecy of good and ill will be spoken of Joseph has come true? Or maybe that since it is so controversial, you cannot reliably know what was really up with the guy so you might as well just believe him (with a sigh).
What do you think it means?

Re: most controversial Wikipedia articles
The number of footnotes to an article determines how controversial it is? Have I got that right?

Love this comment:
This proves our church is true look how persecuted we are. It always said he would be known for good and evil through out the world.

Mormons don't have a persecution complex. Nah!
This means Scientology is more truer though, since it has been more persecuted.

That appears to be the case.Dwight Frye wrote:The number of footnotes to an article determines how controversial it is? Have I got that right?

Hey, there's two Mormons in the Top 10 - Joseph Smith Jr and Glenn Beck!
