It is a true spectacle that you keep starting these obsequious threads about someone no one here really thinks about unless people like you bring him up. We all have our experiences with him and we can judge based on those experiences the same way you choose to judge him based on your experiences. Sadly, your experiences don't jive with ours, but that doesn't make our experiences or judgments any less valid. You think he is a swell guy for the same reasons people who are closer with the "anti-Mormons" feel they are decent folks too. This isn't rocket science. You like Lou. We get it.

I apologize for having brought him up entirely out of the blue just because he was being assaulted in several threads on the board. There was, plainly, no reason to mention him. Nobody here was even thinking about him until I cited his name.

I apologize for the feverish, rather sick manner in which I've desperately tried to make my absurd point. Hundreds of posts in this thread alone, not to mention the multiple Midgley-related threads that I've single-handedly kept going down in the "Terrestrial Forum," where, just as here, nobody ever even thinks of him, and nobody had been attacking him in several specific threads.

Does anyone here not give a rat's sassafras about the trading card characters of the apologetic world? Although they seem to think highly of themselves and invent and discard doctrine and prophetic statements at will, they don't matter outside tiny apologetic circles. They're less than irrelevant to actual church beliefs and practices. Their function is simply to answer tough questions for members (poorly) and to provide ad hoc church damage control on the internet (poorly).

I'm much more interested in GAs, past and present.
