From another source Beck has talked of forming his own station/cable company to do his type of stuff 24 hours a day.

Maybe his new show will be followed by Boyd Packer counselling gays on domestic tranquility?

Odd though, I was reading a news report on this and they gave, as one reason for his decline in watchers, that he had recently been doing absurd claims about the Middle east. I googled and found that he had said that many of the Libyan rebels are Al Quaida. Interesting thing is, that has now been confirmed. So why does the media seem to enjoy making it look as though he is delusional when what he says is quite true -- no matter how unpopular the news is to O Bomb ya and the rest of the war hawks?

He makes one wild assertion that happens to turn out correct (assuming it actually is) and suddenly "what he says is quite true"? Blind squirrels, broken clocks, and all that.

Dude, he's delusional because 99% or what he says is BS. You can't just count the hits and ignore the misses.

Speaking of Fox and craziness, Jon Stewart had Mike Hukkabee on his show for an extended interview. He argued that the Bible was against the minimum wage, citing the parable of the Matthew 20: 1 - 16. The workers in the story are all paid the same, despite starting at different times.

One writer said this about this parable, showing Baptist Hukabee was wrong:
"This parable doesn't actually have anything to do with the amount of money somebody is paid for a job. If some workers worked more hours than others then naturally those workers would normally get paid more. This parable is actually once again talking about the Kingdom of Heaven.

In this parable we are the workers in the vineyard, God is the landowner and the denarius is eternal life in heaven. Our payment for accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior is eternal life in heaven. What the Parable of the Vineyard is saying is that it doesn't matter what time we start working for God, as long as we starting working for him at some point we'll get the same reward as everybody else."

Well, if what you say is true then please feel free to list a few of those delusional comments. Since you claim 99% of what he says falls under that category, then it should be an easy task, right?

His viewership has been declining steadily for a while, not as the result of one incident of craziness. And his absurd Mideast claims were about some grand Muslim conspiracy to replace all the dictatorships in the region and create a great new caliphate, then take over the world.

More important than viewer numbers, however, is the flight of sponsors from his program, starting when he claimed that half-caucasian Obama is a racist who hates white people (including, one assumes, his mother, grandparents, most of his friends, and nearly all his staff).

The only sponsors he has left now are those that sell survivalist gear and gold. The show has become unsustainable. And if there's one thing more important to Murdoch than right-wing propaganda, it's money.

You're a bit of an ass for making me go read his idiocy to find you some stuff. I like to avoid his moronic crap at all costs, but I was reminded of a few things in my troubling adventure:

- "This president I think has exposed himself over and over again as a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture....I'm not saying he doesn't like white people, I'm saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist."
- "The only [Katrina victims] we're seeing on television are the scumbags."
- "When I see a 9/11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, 'Oh shut up' I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining." (Note: This one is especially idiotic considering his constant complaining and his exploitation of 9/11 to do his 9/12 BS)
- "Progressivism is the cancer in America and it is eating our Constitution."

This was easy to find, by the way. Start to type in a google search "idiotic gle" and it will suggest for you "idiotic glenn beck quotes" as your first choice. That should tell you something right there.

I have never watched the Glenn Beck Show. Now I know why. That 9/11 comment is horrific. After reading that comment, any modicum of respect I could have for him went right out the window.

I think it would be a big positive for the LDS Church if Beck disappeared from the spotlight, taking his Skousen obsession with him.

It can't be good for the organization having him as the third-most-famous Mormon in the country (after Donnie and Marie).

They are much better off with floppy Mittens and milquetoast Harry sharing that high-profile position.

For those that haven't seen it, Jon Stewart sadly explains the loss of Glen Beck (in four videos). We will miss him.
