I think one thing is clear: whatever really happened, harmony clearly acted inappropriately as a moderator in the c-word fiasco. Instead of following board protocol and moving the post in question to an appropriate lower forum, or otherwise taking proper corrective action, she deleted an entire post that personally insulted her. This is just the latest of many, many incidents I've observed of harmony inappropriately moderating the board.

In my opinion, harmony has consistently abused her "power" as a moderator and demonstrated her inability to fairly moderate this message board. I sincerely hope Dr. Shades reconsiders her position here. I don't think it benefits anyone to have someone like her in a position to be deleting and censoring posts, suspending people, and looking out for all of our interests.

The fact that she nominated and ordained herself a moderator after threatening to stop posting here is worth noting too. I hereby nominate and vote that she be removed as a moderator effective immediately.

I could not be stronger in my disagreement.

One example:

Several times harmony revealed which region in the Pacific Northwest she lived in. At least one of these reveals happened in the context of her talking about a GA coming to visit the ward. Several months later (or maybe longer), I was participating in a thread discussing youth rights. I made a positive comment stating that in her state there are very few private youth residential treatment facilities because you need only be 14 years old to refuse treatment.

She exploded with red font, editing my harmless post and saying that she never revealed where she lived and I would be suspended if I mentioned it again. She clearly revealed the information herself (how else would I know?) and forgot, and threatened me with a suspension for no reason and deleted one of my posts.

I'll post more examples in this thread if needed. I'm sure she is a nice lady in real life, and it isn't at all personal, but I think it's absolutely clear that she is unable to objectively moderate this message board.

The moderators do the best job they can, and they are human. I've been the victim of unfair treatment once or twice, but that's bound to happen from time to time. This isn't "lynch-mob discussions", it's Mormon Discussions. Let it go.

When you tried to hack into Doctor Scratch's email accounts, find out if he lived in Irvine, and claimed to have hired a Private Investigator to find out the identity of someone here you don't like? Is that when the "unfair treatment" happened, Greg?

Why must you make everything about me? Are you that enthralled with me? I did none of those things, and that was not the situation I was referring to.

What situation were you referring to then, if not the March Meltdown you are now famous for? Feel free not to answer and interact with me at all. I would consider it a personal favor.


Side note: Dr. Shades removed Jersey Girl as a moderator, as posters that have been around for a while surely remember. Why did that happen?
