Please listen to the apostates, COB!

Dear COB,
This is a letter for all the people at COB that are asked to monitor the Internet for the latest ideas being discussed. I want you (TSM in particular) to know that I have loved ones still attending your church and therefore have a vested interest in it. I hope you know that I really would like to see change in the church. I hope you know that just because I have left, I have not given up on change. I have hope that you can change because I love and respect the people in my life that still remain a part of the church. I don't want the COB to implode and be destroyed. That would hurt the people in my life. I am not out to destroy you just because I don't believe or take part in your religion.
This is a plea for you to consider change and stop being afraid. Don't be afraid of losing members. Don't be afraid of ridicule. Don't be afraid of showing an about face. Be strong! Be honest! Embrace the past and confront it. Own it. It is a dirty past but in a way, that makes it beautiful because of the color. Your believers can still find the divine in this colorful past. Please stop trying to make the church be something it is not. Please stop being afraid of people that are still in the church and ask you to change.
I hope you will print this letter and show it to the prophet and discuss it.
Sincerely,
Zee the apostate
