Did Joe ever really translate anything?

Joe the coxman 'translated' the book of morons, book of Abraham, New Testament and possibly some other stuff.
Did he ever really 'translate' anything we can see and read and have checked for accuracy?
The Bible stuff was not a translation as he had no original or old documents in another language to work from.
The Book of Mormon has nothing but the writings of 'caracters' for us to see and no one who knows anything of egyptian will even say the 'caracters' could be a reformed version of the language.
The book of Abraham has many egyptologists who will look at the information and scrolls that are available and say what is written does not correspond with what is accepted as 'translation' of the writings.
Did joe the coxman translate anything at all?

Yes.
Joseph translated the papyri into the Book of Abraham.
He translated the Kinderhook plates.
He translated a Greek psalter.
He translated the golden plates.
Unfortunately he didn't translate any of these correctly.
The papyri? Still owned by the Church and shown to be something other than 'Abrahams own hand'.
The Kinderhook plates?
A complete set up that Joseph fell for (a bit like the Hoffman debacle).
The Greek psalter? A known item that Joseph incorrectly tried to identify.
The gold plates? Nowhere to be found and not used, not even once, in the production of the current Book of Mormon. I don't think the gold plates were used for the thousands f corrections that have been made since it's 'production'.
Sure he could translate, he could translate nonsense...

Isn't it a marvelous work and a wonder that elohim/jehovah made sure that there would be no reliable, forensic evidence of JSJr's claims, so that we would have to park our brains and believe in the absence of evidence. Halelujah! Praise be! That's because elohim/jehovah are not looking for people to think for themselves, just people that will do what they are told--by other people.

Who is "Joe the coxman?" a nickname for you?
The answer is no,
you did not translate anything.
Next question.
