If you still insist upon blaming God for all things bad realize that he allows us freedom enough to come to realize the truth of who we truly are so that we might change. And know that we cannot change without God's help. It is the only possible way for humans to advance to a higher state of existence interconnected with God. An approach to oneness after being made free and independent. This is the way.

Humans have evolved to be able to judge actions. They are able to resist actions that their culture or community judge as wrong or illegal.

Good is a subjective value judgement placed on actions. By the judgement of most in my culture and community I am "good."

Funny, I though it proved nothing more than that humans sometimes harm each other, and if you want to call that 'evil' okay, but how does it make them devils? Would not the good they do make them also angels? How can they be both? Whatever 'good' and 'evil' are, that man does them does not argue for the existence of devils or angels.

There you sort of went circular on me, bud. You say that god exists because we're evil, but that we sometimes do good because of god. So we can only be good because we're evil? You know, theists that believe this surely have a self-loathing. Do you practice corporal mortification, i.e., physically hurt yourself routinely, because of your own evil within, like the Opus Dei numerary Silas did in the Da Vinci Code?

The proof of everything IS the fact that there is a duality in us. This means that neither good nor bad can be who we are because for us to be a genuine self we must possess a singularity. All other forms of life express a solid singular sort of existence. Only humanity exhibits cardinal spiritual shifts constantly from pole to pole. This proves we are not alone. We respond to spiritual influences and thereby prove the existence of God and the devil. Only this can account for intrinsically spiritual shifts from love to hate, from wholesomeness to viciousness, from edification to defilement.

I bet this can be reduced to a mathematical expression. In physics we discover things by how something else is affected. We are affected by the presence and constant influence of the spiritual reality of God and a spiritual reality of evil.

First of all, you need to relax. Turn off the News. Maybe get out of Utah for a while and see the world.

Humans use a lot a things to do all kinds of stuff.

What you might recognize if you would just open your eyes is that humans are basically good, kind, responsible, respectable and even loving.

Think about it. There are around 8 billion humans on the planet. Each day, most of them wake up each day and figure out a way to feed and clothe not only themselves but somehow instill this concept among those around them. We all come from a family of some sort - whether it's a mother and father or a village. Most of us are taught love and tolerance at least for our own.

If you look hard enough, you will find that most people desire to be good, not evil.

Now God's, on the other hand, you need to be wary of them and their true motives. They justify a lot of evil behavior in the name goodness, love, tolerance and truth, particularly when humans do what God's do rather than do what they say.

Let it go, NightLion. Get your own life. Quit attempting to speak and act like just another non-human, devilish behaving God. You are so very much better than that.

Nobody is all bad (a.k.a. devil) or all good (a.k.a. angel). People are cerebral creatures with complex motives.

Devils and angels are simplistic symbols which only inhibit true understanding. But hey, don't let me get in the way of your crazy. It still warms the hell out of me.

This is a good demonstration of my point.

Why are they evil? Why are the good?

Think about the young teenager who relents to go to the RAVE with her friends even though she really is uncomfortable and fearful about what's going to be happening there. Someone puts Extasy in her drink and she wigs out wild and unrestrained. She is sort of led on and end up servicing the lipstick rainbow totems of multiple men. On her way home she cannot believe that that was HER and suffered to believe that she is better than that and cannot live with the thought.

Nest Monday her friends at school are laughing extolling how fun it was to let it go and championing the young teen on how bad ass she finally was. They all agree that they cannot wait for the next RAVE. A month later her parents find her lifeless body in the garage, in the car that is still running.

Her friends wonder what could possibly have made her do that. She was so smart and beautiful and happy and wanted to live and do great things.

You got a really fine world and wonderful people indeed. No devils in sight. Uh huh!
