Nobel Laureate in Economics John Nash saw patterns in numbers, some that when pointed out others agreed with, at other times he saw patterns that no one else agreed with.

Nightlion sees religious images on Mt. Olympus east of Salt Lake City. Few share the notion that those are images from god, a form of divine communication.

stemelblow sees good in people, and is convinced he does not measure up.

TBMs see some rhyme or reason to the teachings of Mormonism; I no longer do.

Sometimes it seems we see what we want to see. Even stem obviously wants to see good in other people, ignoring and not noticing their bad. What is interesting, however, is when we realize our strong desire to see something, take pains to neutralize it, and then see what is there.

I cannot neutralize The Apocalrock, neither dare I do it. For I know it and I know God knows it, so how can I deny it lest I bring upon myself the judgments of the Living God? I think in all seriousness that The Apocalrock stands on it own two feet. Actually it has but five toes, but those are the toes of the fallen image of Babylon trampling upon the Holy One of Israel, whose head is the headquarters of the LDS abomination as if laid low in the dust.

Sort of like that Saint from Assisi.
