Experiences with Heavenly Mother
I am interested in sharing experiences related to Heavenly Mother, or perhaps more appropriately, experiences relating to the teaching about Heavenly Mother. (If any of you have had experiences with Heavenly Mother personally, please feel free to weigh in.)
It seems that most Mormons know there is a teaching about a Heavenly Mother, and that we have a hymn in which She is referenced, but other than that I seem to hear very little about Her.
Last Sunday when we had talks related to Mother's Day, our concluding speaker announced he was assigned to speak on the subject of "The Sanctity of Motherhood." Here I thought certainly Heavenly Mother would get at least a passing reference, but nothing was said about Her in a talk where one might think She would be the centerpiece.
I am wondering why Heavenly Mother gets such short shrift in the Church, and whether others have experiences different from mine.
All the Best!

I think that guy, Christopher Namelka, has made it his passion to invent scripture about it.
Back in the day when Adam-god was accepted the Mother in Heaven was Eve. Mormons are nothing if not taking everything lightly and never getting to the bottom of things. Brigham Young tried to force the Adam-god doctrine to no avail. It just does not fly. So the notion that Our Father In Heaven has a wife is speculation without substantiation.
See if HF was the father of our spirit bodies then he has a wife. Truth is, he was not the father of our spirit bodies. Adam truly was. This does not make Adam our God as per thinking we are going to become just like him and have spirit children.
Exaltation is about having spirit children. It is not about becoming a Heavenly Father. There can only be one God from all eternity, without father, without mother, having neither beginning of days or end of years. See what I mean?
Women who inherit eternal lives will be mothers in heaven. But they are not the consorts of a divine being and do not become divinity themselves. They are seed bearers who obey the commandment of God to multiply and replenish as Eve did in creation scriptures and it was said that they finished all the hosts thereof.................before................they went into the Garden of Eden.
See? The only true God commands the exalted gods to continue the seeds both in the world and out of the world, meaning in the physical sense, after they fall in the Garden, and in the spiritual sense after they are, resurrected, (created and made in the likeness and image of God, with the same type of celestial glory) in a married state and given a world to populate with those spirits sent to them from an organization of intelligence where the Eternal God commanded the light of truth to bring forth independently organized intelligences by the word of his power and thus became the Eternal Father of all.

Heavenly Father: Be Perfect.
Heavenly Mother: and pick up your clothes and clean your room while you are at it.

Re: Experiences with Heavenly Mother
I pray to a female God but she is not married so I guess she doesn't count as Heavenly Mother.
I did experience a very clear answer to my prayer to her. I asked her if she exists and listens to me and the confirmation was quite powerful, relative to my poignant prayers of my past.

Re: Experiences with Heavenly Mother
My experiences of a Heavenly Mother are with Mary, Mother of God.
"From the East to the West the All Holy is invoked as Heavenly Mother, who holds the Son of God in her arms and under whose protection the whole of humanity finds refuge, with the very ancient prayer, "We shelter under your protection, Holy Mother of God: despise not our petitions in our needs, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and Blessed Virgin". "
Peace.

Awesome! I hope the Catholics never feel ashamed for devotion and worship of Mary.

I don't know why we ever would. :)
