Anyone know the details? I was reading his now-locked "Heavenly Mother" thread over there and saw "Banned" underneath his avatar. When did this happen? And why?

So that it may be known what caused my banning on the MDD Board, I posted a thread titled, "Putting a Rumor to Rest."

The entirety of the OP was as follows:

I have heard a rumor that the Maxwell Institute is pulling the plug on publishing William Schryver's Book of Abraham research.

Is there any truth to this?

I think somebody over there has thin skin.

I also wanted to mention that I was PM'd over there by a poster whose name I will not mention, but who was unfamiliar to me, with the following message:

As angry as parh was "rumored" to be, tread lightly

I do not know what "parh" is supposed to mean, and cannot communicate with this poster to find out whether it was a misspelling or an acronym or abbreviation or what.

At any rate, I knew the job was dangerous when I signed up for it.

Wow. The MAD moderators are behaving even more strangely than I thought possible -- even for them! If I'm not mistaken, in the last couple days RockSlider was also banned from MAD for a similarly innocuously worded post mentioning the Schryver/MI thing, and Lars Umlaut was banned for bringing up the arrest of Lund.

That place has really gone off the rails this time. (Or maybe it's always been this way, and I'm just now seeing it. At any rate, wow.)

I do not know the details but I am most pleased by this news.

If there was ever a person who deserved to be silenced more than Consig, I surely did not know them.

It is a better day for all when we can eliminate people like Consig who do nothing more than wildly throw his anger, vitriol, and disgust upon all who happen to cross his pathetic path.

I was also banned the day or so before that for the same reason.

I don't have the exact wording, but it was something like:

title: WS and MI
sub: MI not to publish KEP work

The thread was quickly deleted and I was immediately banned.

They defiantly are inconsistent in their policy enforcement.

Wouldn't it be interesting to know what really prompted the move from MAD to MDD. I assume something to do with all this prompted DCP to break the FAIR/MI pack of not posting here. Bringing a flurry of renewed activity from the likes of Wade and William along with him. I assume part of their moving back here was based on how darn boring things got after the MDD move.

I have posted very little there since the change, as every time I looked the same 20 subjects were always on page one … it got very slow.

anyway, looks as if they are headed to a totally inbread board with zero diversity. Not as they had a lot to start with.
