do Mormons break you down durring endowment?

i read a little something about how you are pulled apart to zero then rebuilt with Mormon wings, similar to what may happen in a boot camp.
it seems to me Mormons will try and keep you from getting your newly built image tainted or destroyed.
read deftones "change in the house of flies" lyrics, that song is about one of the worst things you can do to a person.
will someone who knows more about this subject enlighten me a bit more, thanks.

As exmormon as I am this ludicrous to even ask.
No this does not happen.
Boot camp is two months, the temple ceremony is only and hour or so, hardly enough time to break you down mentally.
.. and no, the wives of Brigham Young did not jump out of the SLC temple windows into the Great Salt Lake to swim away..

Yup. Salt Lake temple wasn't even complete until after BY had married himself all those wives.

Have you ever been to SLC?
Besides what just me wrote, the shore of the Great Salt Lake is 10 miles away from the damn temple.

This break down may possibly be accomplished with the use of a powerful solvent, vacuum filtering and a centrifuge. Otherwise, it is just a ceremony to bring you closer to God.

It has been a long time since I have been inside a Mormon temple and I don't recall seeing any pictures on the wall Emma or for that matter any of Joe's other wives.
