What do the following official statements mean? These statements from this official spokesman for LDS Inc:

"It is a record of God's dealings with the ancient inhabitants of the AMERICAS"
The "Americas"(plural) is which land mass or masses?? All of North, Central, and Southern America? Damn big place for such a small book..
Why not go with the apologist statement and say,"It is a record of God's dealings with a small isolated group of the ancient inhabitants of the AMERICAS"

"..and contains the FULLNESS of the everlasting gospel."
Fullness you say? What is the definition of that word?
fullness |ˈfoŏlnəs| (also fulness)
noun
The state of being filled to capacity
Why then would the D&C and PoGP be required if the Book of Mormon contains the FULLNESS?

gold as in the metal or gold as in the color?"..their words written on gold plates"

Really? Celestial marriage and eternal families is in there also? What about polygamy?"..it puts forth the doctrines of the gospel.."

"...outlines the plan of salvation"
I did a google search for "plan of salvation" and got this off LDS.org:

Key points that LDS Inc identifies in this plan:
Birth
Death
Premortal Life
Spirit World
Earth Life
Resurrection
Final Judgment
Telestial Kingdom
Terrestrial Kingdom
Celestial Kingdom
I was not impressed when I went to http://LDS.org/scriptures/search?lang=eng and searched on each of the above points..
Items found in the Book of Mormon search:
Birth: 5 (not relevant)
Death: 177
Premortal Life(also preexistence): 0
Spirit World: 0
Earth Life: na
Resurrection: 57
Final Judgment: 0 (only hits in Study helps about the three degrees)
Telestial Kingdom: 0 (only hits in D&C)
Terrestrial Kingdom: 0 (only hits in D&C)
Celestial Kingdom: 0 (only hits in D&C)
Wow, that is a great outline Mr. Holland!

"..and tells men and women what they must do to gain peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come."
REALLY? Again, why did Christ not teach among many other things only found in the D&C+PoGP, about the requirement to be married in the rip-off-masonic Mormon temple?
He finishes his clip with the so called Moroni promise but does not allow any room for anything but coming to the same conclusion about the book as he has.
