Where can we see the actual writings of Father Abraham?

Joseph Smith said the papyrus he translated had the actual writings of Father Abraham - by his own hand. Not by scribes or others, but by him personally.

Where can we see this writing?

I have been told that if it existed it would be the oldest biblical writing in existence and one of the greatest religious finds in history.

Why is ld-sinc keeping this from the world?

No he didn't. He said it was "purported" to be written by Abraham.

Not by scribes or others, but by him personally.

Nehor smart smart smart. Joseph really dumb.

Where can we see this writing?

You can't.

I have been told that if it existed it would be the oldest biblical writing in existence and one of the greatest religious finds in history.

Smash that strawman. Even your feeble wit should be able to pull it off......maybe.

Why is ld-sinc keeping this from the world?

Because you made it up. Joseph, you have Jimmy Hoffa's body in the crawlspace under your house. Why are you keeping this from the world?

A Translation of some ancient Records that have fallen into our hands from the catacombs of Egypt. The writings of Abraham while he was in Egypt, called the Book of Abraham, written by his own hand, upon papyrus. (See History of the Church, 2:235–36, 348–51.)

True.

The writings of Abraham while he was in Egypt, called the Book of Abraham, written by his own hand, upon papyrus.

Yep, Abraham wrote them on papyrus. Then they were transcribed.

(See History of the Church, 2:235–36, 348–51.)

Okay, check those sources why don't you? It will help you avoid embarrassing yourself defending Joseph's idiocy.

Nothing there about the writings having been transcribed. The prophetic word on the subject is this:

"In the present no. will be found the commencement of the Records discovered in Egypt some time since as penned by the hand of Father Abraham which I shall continue to translate & publish as fast as possible till the whole is completed. . . " ("Joseph Smith to the Times and Seasons" Joseph Smith Collection, LDS Archives)

Joseph told Charles Adams and Josiah Quincy, visitors to Nauvoo: "This [pointing to the papyri] was written by the hand of Abraham and means so and so. If anyone denies it, let him prove the contrary. I say it" (Diary of Charles Adams, entry of 15 May 1844, in Proceedings of the Massachusetts Historical Society 68 (1952):285, cited in (Larson 1996, p.95)). Joseph pointed to a character on the papyrus and told a reporter from the Quincy Whig that it was the signature of Abraham (The Quincy Whig, Oct. 17, 1840, cited in Larson 1996, p.94).

Your credibility in determining intelligence of other people is infinitesimal.

Har har.

Okay let's clear this up, here and now.

I typed that on my phone. It autocorrected to that word, and I didn't pay any attention to it before I posted.

But the real problem is you believe this dubmass has any intelligence whatsoever? Now that is hilarious.
