You need to accept the fact that the double standard is thoroughly institutionalised here, and post accordingly.

Apart from that, I agree with you. Joseph clearly thinks her sufferings are unimportant. How could they be otherwise? She's only a Mormon; it's not like she's fully human, or anything.

Elizabeth Smart is an activist. Publicity is likely seen as a positive thing since she can use it to shine light on the issues faced by survivors of violence.

I'm glad she was able to be a witness in the trial. I wish that all missionaries were encouraged to take a break for their mission to attend important things like funerals, weddings, etc.

I wish Elizabeth every happiness life can offer.

I think it's fine to hate evil and there's plenty to hate in the Mormon church.

But I would suggest you come up with a valid argument occasionally. It turns my stomach to appear to be in agreement with the tools that use your methods to attack others on a regular basis (belmont and pahoran in this case).

If you're going to let the religeon go, you need to take a good look at letting this method of over-sensationalizing your posts with no legitimate references go as well. This has Mormon written all over it. It's this behavior that these clowns engage in.
